Automatic Deletion Policy

60-Day Inactivity Rule

To maintain the integrity of our research database and optimize system performance, Biology World Institute implements an automated data pruning cycle.

Accounts that have shown no login activity for a continuous period of 60 days are flagged for automatic deletion. This process includes the permanent removal of:

User Profile Metadata
Course Progress & Quiz Results
Internal Wallet Balances (Coins)
Research Collaboration Logs
Enrollment History
Stored Preferences

Notification: We will attempt to send a courtesy reminder to the registered email address 7 days prior to the scheduled deletion. Once the 60-day threshold is reached and the deletion process begins, data cannot be recovered.

Manual Deletion Requests

Users have the right to request manual deletion of their account at any time. We process these requests with the highest priority to respect your right to be forgotten.

Email Request

Send a formal request from your registered email address to support@biologyworld.institute with the subject "Account Deletion Request".

Processing Time

Manual requests are typically verified and completed within 5-7 business days. You will receive a final confirmation email once the process is finished.

Policy Justification

This policy is designed to comply with global data protection regulations (GDPR/CCPA) regarding data minimization and to ensure that institutional resources are allocated to active members of the biological research community.
